As Dr. G always says, "Teamwork makes the dream work!"

You have all heard Vicky's cheerful, easygoing voice on the other end of the phone, helping to make you feel comfortable and prepared for your upcoming surgery. Vicky is in charge of many of the daily operations of the clinic and is Dr. G's right hand lady. You can find Vicky in her downtime watching true crimes shows and spending time with her family.

Kendra is one of the hardest working people you will meet. She will work through any problem until she is able to find a solution. Kendra completed both her MOA and Unit Clerk programs after graduating High School. Kendra works diligently to coordinate with our Plastic Surgery colleagues to book reconstruction for our Mohs patients and schedule our Mohs Surgeries. Her passion is her family and she loves to spend time with them camping and just being outside, enjoying our Summers (protecting herself from the sun, of course!)

Madie is our extremely detail-oriented Sterilization Technician who ensures all of our instrument sterilization is immaculately cleaned, stocked and ready to be used in surgery everyday.  Her work ethic is exceptional and she states she  "finds surgeries, instrumentation and the science behind it fascinating". When not working, you will find Madie spending time with friends, enjoying electronic dance music and doing hobbies where she needs her hands, like crocheting and oil painting.

Lidiya is the hands behind it all - she skillfully processes tissue and creates copious amounts of slides daily that Dr. G then reads during Mohs Surgery. Immigrating to Canada from Bulgaria 20 years ago, Lidiya completed the Medical Laboratory Technology program at SAIT and has been working alongside Dr. G as a Histotechnologist since 2013, spending her entire career in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and has made over 100,000 slides. Outside of work, Lidiya's time is filled with her family and two dogs. She loves to go camping in British Columbia, reading, biking, gardening,  and you will always find her wearing UPF clothing, just like in these photos!

Michelle can be found fondly singing in the OR to patients as she provides the utmost in patient care. Our Lead Nurse and Educator, Michelle has worked alongside Dr. G since 2013 and helped to open up CSCC in 2018. Michelle is one of the most compassionate and caring Nurses you will meet. Patients remember her because of this and will ask for her by name. She is a very proud Mom of two beautiful little girls and loves to spend time with her family outside of work. In her spare time she also enjoys painting.

Nikki is our resident Mohs Surgery Expert with almost 20 years experience in the field. She is immensely passionate about her work as a Nurse, even winning the Laura Crawford Excellence in Nursing Award in 2016. Nikki is often in the OR deep in conversation with patients about all things sports, while ensuring that our patients have the easiest experience possible during Mohs Surgery. When not in an OR, you can find Nikki crushing balls on a baseball field or at the dog park with her husband, daughter and two dogs - Eddie & Owen!

Jessica has almost 2.5 years of experience in Mohs Surgery. Born in a small town in Ontario, Jessica completed the Registered Practical Nurse program in 2018. Her contagious laugh and calm, caring demeanor brings ease and reassurance to our patients. She is incredibly hard working and seeks perfection in all that she does. Jessica is a dog Momma to her husky, Harley,  and loves spending time in the mountains paddle boarding, quadding and camping.

You will find Brittany sprinting around the office, always on a mission! Brittany spends her time assisting our Nurse Practitioner, Heather, always making sure things run smoothly. She is extremely hard working and embodies all of the qualities to make an exceptional Nurse. Brittany has been an LPN for over 10 years, is a cat Mom of 2 and loves to spend her spare time watching classic movies with her fiancé and enjoying the great outdoors. She will also admit to a slight addiction to gummy candies!
